Food Pantry Coordinator: Ethel Roberson

Ethel started with Brothers' Keeper in 2000 as a laundry worker; after two years in this position, she started working with the food pantry with a work program: AARP. She was hired in 2011 by Brothers' Keeper as Food Pantry Coordinator.
She came here with her family from San Antonio, Texas. Ethel graduated from Calumet High School in 1971. English was her favorite subject in school, which she excelled in! Ethel loves to read mysteries & suspense books. She is a natural helper, and enjoys the community she works in.

Over 40 years as an accountant and bookkeeper in the public, private, and business sector. Highly organized and detail focused. Strong record in performance and profitability. Ability to prioritize task at hand accurately and meet deadlines. Will take the initiative to go the extra mile.
Skilled in all aspects of computerized accounting. Posting debits and credits, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, preparing financial statements, and all business taxes. Excellent computer skills using Quickbooks, Excel, Microsoft Word, Peachtree, Great Plains, and most other accounting software programs. Preparation of 1120, 1065, 941, 990, 1040, 1041, and most other business taxes.
